The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art commissioned Anvil to design two new rolls of gift wrap and a journal. The rolls of gift wrap were produced in both the “Stripe” and “Turret” patterns and a 96-page journal with heavyweight cover in the “Stripe” pattern. The “Turret” design is inspired by the architectural narrative of the Museum and uses a graphic rendition of architect Mario Botta’s turret in a range of light and dark metallic colors. The “Stripe” design emulates, through the use of varnished inks, the matte and gloss finishes appearing on the granite walls inside the Museum. |
